Have you ever seen a subject that just screamed for you to paint it?
So you jump right in, quickly sketch it out and start painting. Halfway through the painting, you notice you have a mess on your hands. You've painted over the highlights, some areas are way too dark, and the colors look all wrong.
This happens to a lot of us. What you need is a plan.
