Watercolor can be so confusing!

So many colors, so many techniques, so many styles .....can lead to so much frustration. 

To try to sidestep some of that confusion and frustration, I created this short tutorial which uses a simple design, limited colors and only a few techniques.

In this tutorial I used:

300 LB Arches Cold Pressed paper

Loew Cornell Ultra Round Brushes sizes 8 and 6

 Watercolors: Permanent Rose, Pthalo Blue, Lemon Yellow

Watercolor Techniques: Wet on wet, Glazing and Softening
